changes to front cover

i wanted to change the front cover slightly as i wasn't too happy with it. i kept the purple and yellow theme at the top of the page however i added special effects onto the model, changed the font and colour of some of the cover lines and added a outline for the title to break up the block of red. i think this works best as it looks more professional and exciting.

making my contents page

i have started to make my contents page using photoshop for the images and assembling the writing and images on publisher. i have used images from my photo shoot. i have decided to keep the colour purple in the contents page as it links in with my front page and double page.

Final double page

i have just finished my double page i will go back and look at it later on and do some finishing touches but for now im finished. please comment and tell me what you think of the page

i added text to the double page however i didn't get to fit in all the text therefore i am going to make the pictures at the side smaller so i can fit more writing, i also need to add an introduction to the article however i will do that later. please comment and tell me what you think of it.

second attempt of double page

i cropped out the legs of the boys on the big picture as i think it makes the double page more interesting, i also added a title for the page. i made it small because the title of the page isn't that important please comment and tell me what you think of it

double page

after working on my front cover i decided to work on my double page before the contents as i have more ideas on how to lay the pictures out. i had the idea to put single pictures of the boys in the edge of a Polaroid picture. this makes the boys stand out and gives the magazine a older audience look.
